“Almost Healed” is expected to be a commercial success, with first-week sales projections of 125-150k. Although the album will have the week’s biggest debut, Taylor Swift, who released multiple new deluxe packages of Midnights is expected to reclaim the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. According to HDD, “Midnights” (The Till Dawn Edition) is on course for 225-275K. Durk will battle Morgan Wallen for the No. 2 spot.
Leading up to the album release, Lil Durk strategically released the J. Cole-assisted single “All My Life.” The collaboration garnered attention and became Durk’s highest-charting song as a lead artist. “Almost Healed” also included notable collaborations with Alicia Keys, Morgan Wallen, Future, 21 Savage, and the late Juice WRLD.
Durk’s rival, NBA YoungBoy’s latest album Richest Opp sold 51K units in its opening week, while Soulja Boy who vowed to outsell both Durk and YB sold a reported 500 copies of his “Soulja Season.”
