Morgan Wallen’s third studio album One Thing At A Time is on course for a major first week debut.

According to early projections, the follow-up to his 2021 record breaking sophomore album, “Dangerous: The Double Album,” is expected to move 400-450k copies in its first week of release, which will give it a comfortable No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 next week.

If the numbers are actualized, One Thing At A Time first week numbers would almost double the numbers for Dangerous, which earned 265,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The album’s lead single “You Proof” already set a new Billboard record when it became the first 10-week No. 1 in the history of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Released on Friday (March 3) via Big Loud/Mercury/Republic, the 36-song album is Wallen’s most personal to date. The 29-year old accepts his bad habits as a belligerent alcoholic, and confronts his demons on the ’80s-inflected title track.

“This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows,” Wallen shared of his album in a statement. “It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop.

“There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music and production ideas and these are the songs that felt right to me,” he continued. “It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back i

Wallen will embark on his lengthy 63-date One Night At A Time World Tour next week in support of the new album. One Night At A Time World Tour will see the “You Proof” singer take on stadiums, arenas, and amphitheaters across four countries and two continents from March 15 to October 7. Tickets for the tour are available here.
