Autopsy results have confirmed that Jacky Oh‘s cause of death was due to medical complications arising from cosmetic surgery. The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that the former Wild ‘N Out star underwent a “gluteal augmentation procedure” the day before her passing.
As per the autopsy report obtained by TMZ, Jacky traveled to Miami in May for a procedure involving liposuction and fat transfer, commonly known as a BBL. The surgery took place on May 30, and she was prescribed Cliprofloxacin, Oxycodone, and Ondansetron. Following the surgery, Jacky experienced a headache and sought a post-operative appointment. Subsequently, she opted for a massage to alleviate the pain and was advised to switch from Ondansetron to ibuprofen.
On the night of May 31, Jacky began experiencing severe discomfort in her head and had difficulty speaking. Her aunt called 911, but tragically, Jacky became unresponsive before help arrived. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 11 PM.
Jacky Oh, whose real name was Jacklyn Smith passed away at the age of 32. TMZ reported at the time the mother of 3 was in Miami getting a “mommy makeover” before her unexpected death. The police report stated that she was found unresponsive and was rushed to Mercy Hospital, where attempts to revive her were made.
In June, the surgeon who performed Jacky’s surgery broke his silence and defended the safeness of his practice.

Jacky Oh was laid to rest on Saturday (June 10), at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The viewing began at 1pm and the service followed at 2pm.
The funeral was a somber affair, but it was also a celebration of Jacky’s life. She was remembered as a loving and caring person who was always willing to help others. DC Young Fly, Jacky Oh’s partner and the father of her three children, was among the speakers at the service.
In his eulogy to Jacky, DC spoke graciously about his wife and how her death has strengthened his faith in God.
“I’m here to tell you as a firm believer, God makes no mistakes. Don’t question nothing, don’t even question what we going through, because we’re going to go through it and get through it because my God is going to give us the strength to get through it.”
