Eminem has wished Griselda signee and fellow Detroit native Boldy James a speedy recovery following his near death accident last week.
“Sending out best wishes for a quick recovery for The D’s own @boldyjames!!!” Em tweeted followed by salute and prayer hands emojis.
Alchemist, Westside Gunn, Bun B and several other industry peers also shared encouraging messages for James.
“My bro is superhuman,” tweeted Alchemist on Sunday (January 15). “We got this [prayer emoji].” Fellow Griselda rapper Westside Gunn asked for prayers and called his ‘brother’ a fighter.
“Please keep my brother in y’all prayers. He’s a strong soul and fighter. He’s still talking bout GXFR x 227 forever!!! Just hearing them words broke me down, but GOD IS THE GREATEST and BO gonna be better than ever.”
Bun B added, “Prayers for my lil bro @boldyjames he has a bad wreck. Get well soon homie.”
Boldy James was seriously injured in a two-car accident last week in Detroit. His representatives say the January 9th wreck left him with broken vertebrae in his neck and orthopedic injuries. He is currently in stable condition at an area hospital “after undergoing extensive surgery on his neck.”
“Boldy and his family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses that are taking care of him, and also to the communities’ emergency medical personnel and first responders,” a statement from his publicist read.
James, who has been removed from the intensive care unit thanked fans for their support by re-sharing the official statement on his Instagram.
“Your prayers are greatly appreciated,” he captioned the post shared on Saturday (Jan. 14). “Thanks everyone for all your support. The calls, text messages, I seen them all. Just keep me in your prayers on this journey as I continue to heal with my family. Thank you god.”
