Kanye West called Cardi B an Illuminati plant in an impassioned rant in a leaked video that surfaced online recently. In the clip, said to be from around 2018, the ex-Yeezy billionaire first accused Kris Jenner’s former partner, Corey Gamble of being an informant.
“Yes, Corey is CIA. You don’t even have to say it, I know it,” Ye said while talking to someone on the phone, alluding to Corey’s secretive nature regarding his family affairs.
Kanye’s inquiry into Corey’s personal life then led him to discuss Cardi B, claiming the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is another Illuminati operative who doesn’t write her own lyrics.
“[Corey’s] Illuminati, that’s why Cardi B was over there. Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati. She don’t write her raps,” he said before adding, “She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposely. That they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do. She has no idea what the f—k is going on. She thinks it’s a blessing from the universe, it ain’t no f——-g blessing.”

Cardi B Responds To Kanye West Calling Her Illuminati Plant
Responding to these allegations, Cardi B who attended the final show of Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour shared a clip of Kanye West praising her in a 2022 interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee.
“I always believed in her since she was on the show. Period,” West said, referencing Cardi’s stint on Love & Hip-Hop: New York.
She captioned her post simply with a red heart emoji.
It’s worth noting that Kanye West collaborated with Cardi B and Lil Durk on the 2022 song “Hot Sh-t.” Reflecting on their collaboration, Cardi B spoke highly of Kanye West, saying, “I’m so happy that he gave me this verse. And I had a lot of conversations with Kanye West. I learned so much about him, and he’s such an amazing, sweet person. I’ve been feeling like I wish a lot of people [could] have conversations with him so they could just see the real him.”
Prior to his leaked rant, the G.O.O.D. Music founder had expressed reservations about Corey Gamble. While still married to Kim, Kanye West sent a message to Corey questioning why the Kardashian-Jenner family had never met any of Gamble’s family members.
“Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you, we’ve never met any of your family members,'” explained Kim, as Disick, Kourtney, and Khloé met with Jenner to discuss the matter during season 16 of KUWTK. “Of course, we’ve all felt that way and thought that, but for Kanye to just so bluntly say that to him — I feel like that was the wrong choice to make at that time.”
Khloé added, “Kanye’s delivery wasn’t great, but the essence of what he said is true. Corey does tend to be pretty secretive and that does have me pretty guarded … We don’t know Corey like that.”
