According to the Tracklist reveal, which is a skit of Summer Walker, Sukihana and Sexyy Red eating ‘cavinar’ in a beach resort, Clear 2: Soft Life contains 9 tracks with guest appearances from Childish Gambino, Solange, Steve Lacy, and John Kirby. Not confirmed, but J. Cole is rumored to feature on the EP’s opener “To Summer, From Cole (Audio Hug).”

“Clear 2: Soft Life” is the sequel to 2019’s Clear. In a new interview with Apple Music, SW explains how the upcoming project differs from its original.

“I wouldn’t call it a continuation of CLEAR,” Summer Walker tells Apple Music. “The first one was kinda sad—all my music is sad—but I’m in a different space, so this one is more happy. It’s a continuation in the sense of the music because it’s all live.”

Her last solo LP was 2021’s Still Over It, a 20-track album with features from Cardi B, City Girls’ JT, SZA, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Pharrell Williams, Omarion, and Ciara.

“CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE” is available for pre-save now. See the full tracklist below.

  1. “To Summer, From Cole”
  2. “Hardlife”
  3. “How Does It Feel”
  4. “Mind Yo Mouth”

  6. “New Type” – featuring Childish Gambino
  7. “Finding Peace”
  8. “Set Up (2017)”
