G-unit were in the thick of things during their prime and were involved in rap beefs with the likes of Roc-A-Fella, The Lox, Fat Joe and Murder Inc. — most of which got real aggressive with words being exchanged on records like Piggy Bank, Wanksta and Order Of Protection.
In a recent interview with Vlad TV, G-Unit alumni Tony Yayo revealed which of his former crew’s famous diss tracks is his favorite of all time.
“I will have to say I smell p-ssy,” Yayo said about G-Unit’s tirade against Murder In. “That one right there it was like a club record that was playing in the clubs that still could perform overseas anywhere in the world and every G-Unit fan remembers that [singing: ‘I smell p-ssy is that you Irv’]. And that right there was the beginning to the ending of finishing them guys.
“So it was a good satisfaction for me I was happy because I never liked Ja Rule, I’ll never like Irv [Gotti]. It’s just something about them… beef never dies it just gets old. Just as long as you stay where you stay and we stay where we stay they won’t be no melee.”
G-Unit released “I Smell P-ssy” in 2003 as an attack on the entire Murder Inc. roster after Irv Gotti claimed 50 Cent signed an order of protection against him and Ja Rule.
