Kanye West has maintained an unusually low profile in the United States since last year’s regrettable antisemitic remarks, which led to the loss of several business partnerships and his billionaire status. However, recent reports suggest that the rapper is poised for a potential comeback.
Sources close to Kanye West have shared with TMZ that the “The College Dropout” is in a “truly great headspace” and has been cranking out songs at a rapid pace, completing nearly 10 tracks this week alone.
The source also states that the sounds and themes explored in his forthcoming releases will harken back to the classic “old Kanye” sound, with fewer political theatrics compared to some of his recent work.
It’s also reported that Ye’s frequent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign, has been working alongside him in the studio, potentially hinting at a joint project in addition to his solo effort.
Fans initially began speculating about Ye’s return last month after sources cited by NBC News revealed he’s been dedicating considerable time to the recording studio. One insider even mentioned that “new music is imminent” from this multi-talented musician.
TMZ adds that, while there’s no fixed release date for West’s new material, he’s taking the necessary time to ensure it lives up to the high standard he’s known for.
‘Jesus is King 2’ Album Leak Featuring Kanye West & Dr. Dre
It’s been over a year since West released “Donda 2,” which was exclusively launched on the Stem Player platform at the time. Fans who have been eagerly anticipating new music from the artist were treated to a surprise on Tuesday when one of his most anticipated projects, the Dr. Dre-produced “Jesus Is King II,” leaked in its entirety.
The album packed with 10-tracks includes features from Eminem, Travis Scott, Pusha T, ASAP Ferg, Ant Clemons, Ty Dolla Sign, and Anderson .Paak as special guests.
It should be noted that the Eminem track, “Use This Gospel (Remix),” isn’t entirely new, and was featured on DJ Khaled’s 2022 album “God Did.”
