The ongoing beef between Chris Brown and Quavo is heating up, and 50 Cent is adding fuel to the fire. The G-Unit mogul recently shared his thoughts on Chris Brown’s latest diss track, “Weakest Link.”
In a post shared on his Instagram page, 50 highlighted the urgency for Quavo to respond with equal intensity: “Oh my God, I just heard this,” 50 Cent posted, “if Quavo doesn’t come with some heat, it’s a wrap.”
Chris Brown didn’t mince words in “Weakest Link,” taking direct shots at Quavo. Since its release last Friday, the song has gone viral for its aggressive lyrics and personal attacks at the Migos rapper.
Brown’s lyrics leave nothing unsaid, suggesting he had a relationship with Saweetie while she was still with Quavo, and even touching on the sensitive topic of Takeoff’s passing.
“R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only one with respect crazy when he died everybody was wishing it was you instead.”
The internet has been buzzing with anticipation for Quavo’s response. Fans and critics alike are eager to see how he’ll counter Brown’s brutal jabs.
Earlier this month, Quavo taunted Brown over his rumored fling with Karrueche Tran, who was previously in a relationship with the “Look At Me Now” hitmaker.
On his track “Tender,” Quavo alludes to Brown’s history of domestic violence and drug use with the bars: “You did the bitch wrong and now the bitch gone, she posted with a thug/ Call the bitch phone, she won’t come home, don’t beat her up/ It must be the drugs, need to cross out your plug.”
This isn’t the only current rap feud 50 Cent has weighed in on. He previously commented on Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which features AI-generated vocals from Tupac and Snoop Dogg targeting Kendrick Lamar.
“Ok, in my professional opinion on this matter, leave this man alone,” 50 warned. “I’ve seen this movie before, it will not end well. You disagree, ok then where is your stuff at, boy.”
According to Joe Budden Podcast host Antwan “Ish” Marby, Kendrick Lamar reportedly has a response ready to go, claiming its viciousness is comparable to 2Pac’s “Hit Em Up.”
