He labels the Migos rapper as the group’s “weakest link” and delves into sensitive territory by bringing up Quavo’s past relationship issues, including a controversial incident were the Atlanta rapper fought Saweetie in an elevator.

He also claims to have been intimate with Quavo’s girlfriend while they were still together. He raps: “You f**ked my ex-ho, that’s cool, I don’t give no f**k, lil n***a,” he raps. “‘Cause I f**ked yo’ ex when you were still with her, b***h, I’m up.”

Although Brown doesn’t specify which ex-girlfriend, many internet users quickly concluded he was referring to Saweetie, whom Quavo briefly dated. Fans pointed to Brown’s wordplay on the song, where he raps “revenge is sweet,” as a reference to her name.

The gloves were completely off when Chris Brown mentioned that when Takeoff passed away, people were secretly hoping it was Quavo instead.

“R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only one with respect crazy when he died everybody was wishing it was you instead.”

All of this started when Chris Brown took jabs at Quavo on the song “Freaky” from his “11:11” deluxe album. Quavo retaliated with a diss track titled “Tender,” referencing Brown’s past as an abuser.

The Chris Brown-Quavo feud has a long history, dating back to 2017. Reports of a physical altercation between Migos and Brown at a BET Awards after-party surfaced around the same time rumors circulated about Quavo’s involvement with Brown’s then-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Although Tran denied any romance with Quavo, they were seen together again in 2022.
