Lil Durk has debunked reports that he and NBA YoungBoy have squashed their years-long beef. In a post shared on his Instagram stories on Thursday (May 4), the Only The Family rapper addressed the rumors and told fans to stop peddling lies
“I ain’t friends with no n-gga. Stop it,” he wrote.
Durk’s disclaimer comes hours after fans noticed he liked a video tweet about the beef being squashed. In the clip shared by a YoungBoy fan page, DJ Akademiks announced that NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk had settled their differences.
“That beef is squashed. You ain’t hear?” the Off the Record podcast host said on his live stream on Wednesday (May 3) during a conversation with another user. “I’m serious. Durk and YoungBoy don’t have beef no more.”
Earlier NBA YoungBoy reacted to AK’s claims by calling him a ‘b-tch.’
“Ak you a b-tch along with his industry friends I love this sh-t it turn out the same way everytime,” YB wrote from an unverified twitter account.
There’s a possibility the beef is truly squashed and both rappers are only acting it out in public view for marketing purposes. Nevertheless, NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk traded shots on Twitter last February after Durkio released his song “AHHH HA,” which contained alleged shots at YoungBoy. The 23-year-old father of 11 responded with his own diss record, “I Hate YoungBoy,” in which he fired shots at Durk, India Royale and some other rappers like Gucci Mane.
