A$AP Rocky has updated fans on the status of his long-awaited album, “Don’t Be Dumb.” In a new conversation with DAZED, Rocky alluded to the album being his “best work yet,” despite not confirming a release date.

“I’ve been really experimenting as usual and what I like about this is it feels like my best work yet,” he said. “I want to leave expectations wide and open. I don’t want to tell you what to expect. I just want people to experience it how they do naturally.”

Lord Flacko has yet to share a release date or tracklist for the follow-up to 2018’s Testing, but he claimed last December that it was completed. “Album finished. Don’t Be Dumb. Let’s go,” he said in a clip shared on Amazon’s weekly concert series Amazon Music Live.

The rapper has dropped some new music over the last several months that could be part of the album. His most recent single “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)” came out in July. That same month, he headlined the third night of Rolling Loud Miami 2023 and caused a stir with an unreleased song called “Taylor Swift,” in which he seemingly took shots at Travis Scott.

“First you stole my flow, so I stole your bi**h/ Then you stole my style, I need at least like 10 percent/ All due disrespect, I hope you take offense,” he rapped allegedly in reference to the Houston artist’s previous relationship with the mother of two his children, Rihanna. The “Fashion Killa” also performed another unreleased record titled “Grim Freestyle.”

The 35-year old became a father for the second time in August following the birth of his son Riot Rose with girlfriend Rihanna. The couple shared the first photos of Riot, along with older brother RZA, in an adorable family photo shoot last month.
