Beyoncé is set to release her highly anticipated album Act II, which will explore her country roots and influences. The album has sparked a lot of rumors and speculations among fans, especially about a possible feature from Taylor Swift, the country-turned-pop superstar. The two singers have a history of mutual admiration and support, and a collaboration between them would be a dream come true for many music lovers.

TMZ recently caught up with Killah B, the producer and co-writer of Beyoncé’s new country track, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” to ask him if Act II would have any special guests. Killah B did not reveal any names, but he teased that Beyoncé was “on the approach of shocking the world” with her new project. He also told fans to “wait and see” as regards any potential collaboration with Swift.

The possibility of a Beyoncé and Taylor Swift collaboration is not far-fetched, considering their past interactions and connections. Fans may remember that Taylor Swift attended the London premiere of Beyoncé’s visual album, Renaissance, in November, and expressed her admiration for the project on social media. Beyoncé returned the favor by showing up at the Los Angeles premiere of Taylor Swift’s concert film, Eras, and congratulating her on her achievements. The two singers also shared a hug and a chat at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where they both won multiple awards.

Beyoncé announced the release of Renaissance: act ii in a spectacular way that started with a new Super Bowl ad for Verizon. Moments after the ad premiered, she delivered with a Texas-themed trailer for the new project, which is set to arrive on March 29.

She also released the first two singles, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.” The songs received mixed reactions from fans and critics, some of whom praised Bey for experimenting with a new genre, while others like Azealia Banks accused her of trying to bully her way into country music.

However, Beyoncé proved her critics wrong by making history as the first black female artist to top the Apple Music US Country chart, and the first female black artist to occupy the first and second positions on the chart simultaneously.
