Blac Youngsta is mourning the death of his younger brother who passed away on Friday (August 18) after being fatally shot at a Memphis gas station. Through an emotional message shared on his Instagram Story, the CMG artist poured out his heart, honoring his brother’s memory and vowing to make a meaningful impact.
“I Love U Baby Brother Rest Up,” Blac Youngsta wrote along with three broken heart emojis. “I’m Gone Make The World Pay. I Swear To God Nobody Safe. Standing Over Everybody. Everybody #4LIFE. Gone Make Sure They Feel Me I Promise. Life Will Never Me The Same But God Got Me. I’m The Strongest Man N The World.”
Addressing the challenges ahead, Blac Youngsta conveyed his resilience, stating, “I’m ready for whatever come with this shit. It’s okay, don’t feel sorry for me. I’m not gone feel sorry for nobody. Only God knows.”
Reports indicate that the tragic incident occurred around 9:30 am at a Valero BP gas station on the South Side of Memphis. Authorities arrived to find Blac Youngsta’s brother fatally wounded. Although details remain limited, witnesses suggest the shooting was a drive-by incident, with the assailant firing from a passing vehicle.
This heartbreaking loss is not the first that Blac Youngsta has endured. In 2019, his brother HeavyChampTD also lost his life, and in 2016, another brother passed away under similar circumstances. Blac Youngsta previously expressed his grief for these losses through social media tributes, sharing his emotional struggles and transformation.
He made a tribute on his page around that time, writing, “I miss you so much lil brother. I swear to god when you died, I thought about killing myself no lie.”
Adding, “Sometimes I just wish god would have took me and not you lil brother, I just wish we could trade places. My life will never be the same without you in this s***. Just don’t feel right.”
“I change my life around lil brother. I don’t rob or sell dope no more. I’m an importing person now I don’t work for food no more little brother. I work for myself and I got our other two baby brothers out (of) the streets, and grandma and mommy not struggling no more cause I’m rich now. Baby brother, you’ll never be forgotten. As long as I’m living, you living,” Youngsta wrote.
Condolences to Blac Youngsta in this difficult time.
