Burna Boy Drops New Album ‘I Told Them…’ Ft. J. Cole and More

Original story: Nigerian singer Burna Boy has revealed the track list for his upcoming album, I Told Them…, which is set to be released this Friday, August 25. The album will have a total of 15 tracks, including the previously released singles “Big 7” and “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” featuring 21 Savage.

The album set to be released by Atlantic Records and Spaceship Records also features J. Cole, Seyi Vibez, Dave and Byron Messiah. The Afrobeats star linked up with J. Cole when he headlined Dreamville fest alongside Drake and Lil Durk back in April. 

“I Told Them…” is Burna Boy’s seventh studio album, and the follow up to 2022’s Love, Damini, which featured appearances from Ed Sheeran, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Khalid, J Balvin and more.

The album is set to continue the African Giant’s foray into the American music scene. His single ‘Last Last’ was a summer anthem and was heard across the world. Earlier this year Burna Boy became the first African artist in history to sell out a stadium in the U.S. with a crowd of more than 40,000 fans in New York.
