A disturbing video has emerged online showing music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.
In the clip obtained by CNN, Diddy, clad only in a towel, grabs Cassie by the back of the neck and throws her to the floor in a hallway. He then kicks her while holding his towel closed.
While the video dated to March 5, 2016 has no audio, Diddy’s actions matches allegations levied against him by the “Me & U” singer in a now-settled federal lawsuit.
Cassie’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, confirmed the video’s authenticity to CNN.
“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light,” Wigdor told the publication.
Diddy and Cassie dated on and off from 2007 to 2018. Their relationship began when Cassie was just 19 and Diddy was 37.

In November 2023, Cassie filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy founder claiming she was raped in 2018 and subjected to years of repeated physical and other abuses.
However, Diddy through his attorney Ben Brafman refuted the claims saying, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.”
