Fans began speculating Jay-Z was going to be a feature on DJ Khaled’s 13th studio album after the two were photographed chilling in the studio a week ago. Khaled used the moment to show his appreciation for Jay.

On Monday (August 1), The veteran Miami DJ confirmed he has secured a verse from Hov for “God Did” announcing “Hov vocals is in” along with a screenshot of his Facetime conversation with Young Guru and Lenny S.

“HOV DID!!! HOV VOCALS IS IN! WOW,” Khaled wrote in the caption. “WOW .. #HOVDID #GODDID ALBUM COMING SOON !!!!!! @wethebestmusic @rocnation @kodaklens @youngguru763 !!!!!!!!!! HOV LOVE FOREVER BROTHER !!!!!!!!WOW! PLEASE SWIPE ! SO U YOU KNOW !!!!!!!!”

Shortly after, Jay-Z’s longtime engineer Young Guru took to Twitter to declare the Blueprint rapper “the greatest of all time.”

“This can’t be debated anymore,” he added.

Roc Nation executive Lenny “Kodak Lens” Santiago, seemingly in agreement shared a screenshot of Guru’s tweet on his Instagram stories with a caption that reads “I been in the studio with Jay his whole career.

“He probably just recited one of the best verses ever. Ever.”

Lenny S. also posted a photo of Hov at the iconic Jungle City studios where he probably recorded the verse. “If you’re a real Artist you know exactly where this is and you know exactly what’s happening,” he captioned the photo.

You can argue DJ Khaled is yet to miss with his Jay-Z features. The two have teamed up for slew of songs since 2015 including “I Got the Keys, “Shining” and “SORRY NOT SORRY.”
