Drake officially confrms he’s the proud owner of Tupac Shakur’s self-designed crown ring. The Canadian rapper didn’t hold back in showcasing the exquisite piece, adorned with gold, rubies, and diamonds, while partying at Starlets strip club in New York.
“I’m wearing Pac’s ring. They got my baby mom on the wall over there,” said Drake in brief video interview with the Sidewalk digital show.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Certified Lover Boy discusses what he looks for in women. He reveals he’s a big fan of “Humor,” saying, “if she watches this and it’s not funny to her, she’s a dub.” The OVO boss later named Denver as the city with the most density of “tings.”.
Drake initially revealed he bought Pac’s $1 million crown ring on his Instagram story in celebration of his collaborator Travis Scott’s new record Utopia. Tupac’s godmother Yaasmyn Fula auctioned the prized jewel, which the late legendary rapper reportedly wore during his final public appearance at the 1996 VMAs.
