Kanye West returned to Instagram on Monday (May 23) to announce his new partnership with fast food chain, McDonald’s.

The 44-year old Chicago native revealed on his latest Instagram post that he has teamed up with Muji’s industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to “reimagine McDonald’s packaging.”

Earlier, Ye shared a potential image of the new packaging on his IG story and wrote, “Next week it’s the fries”.

The fries line featured on the image is a reference to Ye’s verse from his 2005 Late Registration classic “Gold Digger” where he raps: “He got that ambition, baby, look at his eyes. This week he moppin’ floors, next week it’s the fries.”

Back in February, Kanye West made a cameo in McDonald’s Super Bowl LVI commercial, where he pulled up to a drive-thru in a Russian Sherp ATV and shades, as he delivered the now-legendary (to Ye fans) line, “Can I get uhhhhhhhh.”

According to McDonald’s, the commercial, which also features NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, FIFA Twitch streamer Edwin Castro and iconic McDonald’s giant purple character Grimace – voiced by Ryan Reynolds – is inspired by “a universal fan truth” that “sometimes, you just can’t decide what to order.”

As pointed out by Complex, Kanye will be releasing Donda 2 single “True Love,” which features vocals from XXXTentacion to DSPs for the first time this Friday. The song will also be featured in X’s “Look At Me: The Album,” as well as the end credits of a Hulu documentary of the same name, focusing on X’s career.
