KeKe Palmer and Darius Jackson continue to be seen together, despite their reported breakup last month. The two were recently captured together at the Los Angeles stop of Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour, and they seemed to be “Crazy in Love.” They even participated in the now famous ‘Mute Challenge.’
Palmer also took to social media to show off her outfit while expressing her excitement for Beyoncé’s birthday. She wrote, “Had to go see my girl againnnn. Happy Birthday Beyonce! I’m just in the suite, eating sweets, being BEAT.”
Their relationship hit a rough patch this summer when Jackson questioned Palmer’s outfit choice and behavior after a video of her dancing to Usher’s “There Goes My Baby” at one of his Las Vegas residency concerts went viral. Jackson expressed his disapproval, specifically addressing Palmer’s attire and conduct. He wrote on Twitter, “It’s the outfit tho.. you’re a mom,” and later added, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe.”
Following the memes and online turmoil, Keke, who gave birth to her and Jackson’s son Leodis Andrellton in February, posted further images of her dress on Instagram and urged everyone to attend Usher’s concert:
“I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late! I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself??”
People Magazine later claimed that a source close to Jackson said he had moved on from the drama with his baby mama and is focusing on himself. The source noted that Jackson is looking to focus on his acting career and will continue to be a good father, emphasizing that being in the same household isn’t necessary to be good parents.
However, Jackson quickly denied these reports on Twitter, stating, “I haven’t spoken to anyone about anything or gave permission to anyone to speak for me. So all these sites & posts about me making any type of statement are false.”
In addition to KeKe Palmer and Darius Jackson, Beyoncé’s extraordinary birthday concert was attended by several celebrities, including Kelly Rowland, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, North West, Zendaya, Chris Rock, Angela Bassett, Jeff Bezos, Vanessa Bryant, Adele, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Queen Latifah, and many more.
