The cause of rapper Lil Keed’s death remains unknown but new information reveals the Atlanta native suffered from severe stomach aches days before his untimely death.
TMZ reports the 24-year old complained to his friends and family he was suffering from serious stomach pain and was taken to an L.A. hospital to get checked out. While at the hospital, Keed’s condition reportedly got worse, and both his liver and kidneys started failing.
The YSL rapper reportedly battled with alcohol intake and drug usage for years but it’s unclear if his past addictions contributed to his death as he had been sober of late.
As previously reported, Lil Keed, born Raqhid Jevon Render died at Burbank Hospital at around 10 PM on Friday night (May 13) at the young age of 24. His blood brother, Lil Gotit announced the tragic news on Instagram with a photo of them together.
“Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy.”
He is survived by his girlfriend, Quana Bandz, and their first child Naychur. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office is expected to do an autopsy later this week to ascertain the actual cause of death.
