Following 50 Cent’s recent mishap with a microphone during his Los Angeles show, The Game has taken advantage of the situation to one-up his long-standing rival.

As previously reported by Rap Aesthetics, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, made headlines when he angrily threw his microphone while performing at the Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night (August 30). The incident, which appeared to be a result of technical difficulties, was captured on video.

Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain was struck by the microphone and had to go to the hospital to get stitches. She filed a police report that same night.

In response, 50 Cent’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, insisted it was an accident: “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone,” Leemon stated. “Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

Now, 50 Cent is currently under investigation by the LAPD as a suspect in a potential criminal case stemming from the incident.

On a more positive note, Wednesday’s concert was a celebration of 50 Cent’s iconic debut album, “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.” To commemorate the album’s anniversary, the G-Unit founder shared the stage with artists such as Chris Brown, YG, Tyga, DaBaby, and Nas. The Queensbridge legend even praised 50 Cent for revolutionizing the rap industry, saying, “When this man dropped, the whole rap game changed.”
