If you’re a fan of 50 Cent, you know that he loves to troll his friends and foes on social media. The rapper and mogul is notorious for his hilarious and sometimes savage commentary, which often target his fellow celebrities.
But sometimes, he also roasts his own crew members, especially his longtime G-Unit partner Tony Yayo. The two rappers have been friends for decades, and they have shared many ups and downs in their careers and personal lives. They have also shared a lot of clothes, apparently.
In a recent Instagram video, 50 Cent caught Tony Yayo wearing his blue jacket and decided to confront him about it.
“This n*gga got my jacket on!” 50 Cent exclaimed from behind the camera, as he jokingly confronted Yayo in front of Uncle Murda and other G-Unit affiliates.
Yayo tried to defend himself, saying that the jacket was headed to storage and that 50 Cent had $10 million worth of clothes stashed away. He also claimed that the hat was his, but 50 Cent was not buying it.
“You ain’t gonna take my shit. I knew something wasn’t right! You n*ggas is crazy, yo,” 50 Cent said, as he interrogated Yayo about his fashion choices. He asked him if he realized that he was taking his jacket, to which Yayo sheepishly admitted that he did. Yayo then blamed Uncle Murda for taking all the leather jackets, but 50 Cent was not amused.
“Let me ask you a question. When you found this jacket that you know you didn’t pick out, that you know you didn’t buy, that nobody brought to you saying it was yours, did you identify that you was taking my jacket?” he asked.
“I did identify it,” Yayo replied as the group descended into laughter.
“Yo these [ninja emoji] be stealing my clothes. I gotta watch everybody,” the G-Unit founder captioned the video, which has over 100,000 likes and 6,000 comments. Many fans found the video hilarious and commented with laughing emojis and jokes. Some also praised 50 Cent and Tony Yayo for their friendship.
“That’s how y’all know y’all really brothers,” commented one person, while another wrote, “The loyalty and love between @50cent and @tonyyayo it’s beyond a jacket. Love their loyalty towards each other.”

The video was posted shortly after 50 Cent and Tony Yayo wrapped up their Final Lap Tour, which spanned 70 cities in over 20 countries between July and December last year. The tour was a huge success, and Tony Yayo said that he made six figures from it.
“I don’t ask for too much. I’m making six figures, so why would I bother you for more? It’s cool. I’m not worried about that. Trust me, I’m making a great check […] The money is great, the money is excellent.”
He also said that 50 Cent paid for everything, from production to catering to pilots.
“Everybody’s coming there, of course, to work for 50, ’cause 50 cuts the budget. But when you think of everything that’s behind it, from production, road management, catering, dancers, fuckin’ stewardess on the jet, pilots — everybody’s like one big team. And 50 pays for everything.”
50 Cent has also expressed his appreciation and respect for Tony Yayo, who he considers his brother. In a previous interview with The Breakfast Club, 50 explained why Yayo remains one of his closest confidants.
“[Yayo] is a different animal. If it doesn’t—you know what? Charlamagne, if he does something wrong, I don’t care what magnitude of it is, he’ll go, ‘My bad.’ And he’ll go, ‘Aight.’ And we just keep going ’til the next time he does something wrong. That’s the relationship! That is our relationship. Now, when you look at Banks, all these other guys, they came in by way of him and they have a different temperament. It’s not like, it’s not the same relationship.”
“So, I don’t necessarily go back to carrying him. Yay is different.”
