Drake gets bras thrown at him while 50 Cent gets battery reports filed against him. According to TMZ, the G-Unit mogul has become a suspect in a criminal battery case due to an inadvertent injury caused to a woman during his LA concert on August 30th.
Taking the stage at the packed Crypto.com Arena for his Final Lap tour 2023, 50 Cent was joined by surprise guests including Nas, YG, Chris Brown, Tyga, and DaBaby. However, the event was marred by recurring sound issues throughout. During his joint performance of “Toot It And Boot It (Remix)” with YG, another microphone mishap triggered his frustration, prompting him to fling his mic towards the production crew but it ended up hitting a woman in the head.
The woman promptly filed a police report on the same night, recounting that 50 Cent had locked eyes with her before hurling the microphone, suggesting he was aware of her presence. Sustaining a head injury from the impact, she sought medical attention at the hospital.
However, individuals present at the event contend that 50 Cent wasn’t intentionally targeting the woman, and she shouldn’t have been in the restricted area in the first place. Nevertheless, the woman remains adamant in her report that the rapper had directly looked at her before flinging the microphone in her direction.
Photos surfaced on Instagram identifying the woman as Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain and showed her with multiple gashes on her forehead.
Comments on The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram post reflected various sentiments. One person humorously suggested, “Sue him like he sues everyone else. And make sure you collect all your money.” Another playfully commented, “She didn’t have to have a baby by him to a millionaire.”
50 Cent has yet to address the incident on social media.
You may recall Cardi B was involved in a similar incident in which she angrily tossed her mic at a fan, who threw a drink at her during a Las Vegas show. The mic ricocheted off something and hit another person standing nearby. Although a police report was filed, Cardi B was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing.
