Benzino is not backing down from his longstanding feud with Eminem

Benzino crowns himself the Eminem Slayer: “Rap Elvis Destroyed Him”

Days after being caught on camera crying while discussing his two-decade-long beef with Eminem, Benzino is back to talking smack about his longtime rival. In a new interview with The Art Of Dialogue, the former co-owner of The Source magazine downplayed the viral video, expressing that he’s unfazed by Eminem potentially using it against him because he believes he has already slayed him.

“’Rap Elvis’ already destroyed him,” Benzino said. “I already killed him with ‘Rap Elvis.’ Where’s he at? Where’s the response? I want to battle him face-to-face. I think he’s overrated. I think he sucks as a rapper. And it’s f*ck anybody that’s with him. I bombed on him. I’m gonna continue to bomb on him. I’m gonna continue to expose him. At the end of the day, people are waking up to his bullsh*t.”

He continued, “I’m going to go down in history as the Eminem slayer. But right now, it’s f*ck Eminem. I stand on everything I said. I stand on everything I’ve been saying. And ‘Rap Elvis’ destroyed him. I’m still waiting on the response. If he don’t, I’m gonna drop another one.”

Benzino also had words for Eminem fans that antagonize him on social media, dismissing them as non-threatening and soft.

“As far as Eminem’s fans, they the softest, most cuddly Hip-Hop fans out there,” he said. “They ain’t no threat. Who they a threat to? Teddy bears.”

Earlier this week, a drunken Benzino broke down in tears on Drink Champs as he discussed the negative impact of his beef with Eminem.

“I don’t have nothing against Eminem,” he admitted. “He can rap but I care about us more. I don’t want to talk about it no more. My daughter came into this industry figuring, ‘I gotta be cool with Eminem because everybody is against my dad.’”

He continued: “I don’t hate Eminem. I don’t know him to hate him. I don’t hate white people. I’m tired of this shit, man. It’s just too much. I don’t want to be the bad guy. […] Eminem ain’t no bad person. He belongs in Hip Hop. It’s a big racist problem in America right now and Eminem could probably stop half of it.”

Reflecting on his tears in The Art Of Dialogue conversation, Benzino stood by his emotional display, arguing it’s therapeutic for him to cry.

“I’ve cried before,” he said. “I got no problem crying. I need to cry because it helps from probably not hurting somebody. It probably helps me from not hurting myself or people around me.”

Despite rekindling their decades-old beef on the song “Doomsday Pt. 2,” Eminem is yet to respond to any of Benzino’s diss tracks and comments.
