Blueface is engaged! The rapper proposed to his high school sweetheart, Jaidyn Alexis, on Sunday, (October 22), during the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers game at SoFi Stadium in L.A.
A video of the proposal shows the “Thotiana” rapper getting down on one knee in front of Alexis, who was overcome with emotion. “Oh my God, look at this ring,” she says.
Blueface also shared a video of himself documenting the moments before he proposed. In the video, he says, “I’m about to propose to Jaidyn. I’m so nervous. I know she’s gonna say yes. But I don’t know the timing. I’m at this game and it’s halftime the timing is weird. I think I’ll bring everyone in to make it intimate.”
In a series of tweets shared on X, formerly Twitter, Blueface explained his rationale behind the proposal.
“Today was the best day ever,” he tweeted. “I got somebody who ain’t never been with nobody else 💍 can’t nobody say they ever had my wife I won 🏆”
He later added, “Me an Jaidyn gone continue to grow an build I’m so happy I got somebody I KNOW is worth giving it all too at the end of the day. 1 wife 2 kids all in the same house hold I played it smart im happy.”
Blueface and Alexis have been together since middle school and share two children: a 5-year-old son named Javaughn J. Porter and a 1-year-old daughter known as Jaidyn Alexis Jr. The rapper also has another child with his ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock.
