Halle Bailey Welcomes Baby Boy, Announces Name and Shares First Glimpse

Actress and singer Halle Bailey, best known for her portrayal of Ariel in Disney’s live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid,” has welcomed her first child with boyfriend DDG, a rapper and songwriter. 

Bailey announced the joyous news on her Instagram page on Saturday, January 7th, sharing a heartwarming photo of her manicured hand holding the tiny hand of her newborn son. A delicate gold bracelet with the name “Halo” etched on it adorns the baby’s wrist, confirming his name to the world.

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote in the caption. “Welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you.”

DDG also took to his Instagram to share the same photo and a similar message, expressing his overwhelming love for their son. “My biggest blessing by far son.. never been so in love baby halo,” he wrote.

The couple, who began dating in 2020, kept their pregnancy private until Bailey’s post, sparking speculation and excitement among fans. Now, with the arrival of their baby boy, Halle and DDG have opened a new chapter in their lives, one filled with love, laughter, and the joys of parenthood.
