Nicki Minaj becomes the first female rapper ever to have three albums debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 in any decade as her fifth studio album “Pink Friday 2” tops the charts.

Billboard reports Pink Friday 2 boasts the largest sales week for a rap album by a woman in the 2020s, moving a staggering 228,000 total units in the U.S. in its first week, with 92,000 being pure sales. Nicki celebrated her latest Milestone with a very simple tweet comprising the number “228K #Barbz” accompanied by two emojis.

Foxyy Brown who previously held the record for most No. 1 albums by a female rapper (two), reacted to the news by showing love to Nicki who she referred to as her “twin.”

“Umm sir! Only Nic could break tha king[‘s] record,” she wrote on her Instagram stories. “Hella proud,” she added. “26 year record is brazy tho. Y’all mean to tell me no bitch broke that shit in my absence! Took twin to set tha bar again!”

“Pink Friday 2,” dropped on Nicki’s 41st birthday (December 8) and features a star-studded lineup, including J. Cole, Drake, Lil Wayne, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert. The rapper later surprised fans with a “Gag City” edition, featuring additional collaborations with 50 Cent and a new track with Keyshia Cole and Monica.
