Owners Decline Hollywood Offers

Carol Milner and her husband, Timothy, have owned the house since 2004 and have consistently turned down all offers from Hollywood producers over the years. Speaking to TMZ, Carol revealed they even rejected lucrative opportunities, including one offer worth seven figures and an invitation from Dr. Phil.

Carol summed up their stance by saying, “We want nothing to do with the exploitation of that poor family.”

The Netflix docuseries, premiering Monday, has stirred interest in the infamous home. While Carol and Timothy expect an influx of curious visitors, they’re not too worried thanks to the gated property. They do, however, caution potential onlookers to remain respectful and abide by the law.

Life in the Notorious Home

JonBenét, just six years old, was found murdered in the home’s basement in December 1996. Despite the grim history, Carol and Timothy fell in love with the house during their initial walkthrough and have raised five children there without feeling uncomfortable.
