NBA YoungBoy signee, Quando Rondo was arrested on Friday Jun 16 in Georgia. According to reports, the Baton Rouge rapper was hit with 2 counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances law, one count of participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang, and one count of illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal.
Savannah Morning News adds he was indicted by a Chatham County grand jury on charges of violating the street gang terrorism act and conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substances act.
The indictment alleges that Quando Rondo, who was said to be managing the Rollin’ 60s gang in Georgia was involved in conducting drug deals throughout the state between 2022 and as recently as June 2023. He is accused of directing other gang members to purchase drugs, sell drugs, and use jail phones to schedule drug sales.
Police say the gang trafficked more than four grams of cocaine, about 20 grams of M30 pills, hydrocodone pills and 28 grams of fentanyl. The other 18 co-conspirators are accused of various roles in the drug trafficking operation, including purchasing drugs, selling drugs, and storing drugs.
Prior to his arrest, Rondo put out a seemingly fair well tweet to his family members.
“I Love You Paris Italy Kiyah My Mama Tess My Grandma Freida I’ll Be Bacc!” he wrote.
Online records show Quando is currently locked up in the Chatham County jail.
