T.I. to Release Final Album, Double Disc ‘Kill The King / Kiss The King’

T.I. is ready to bow out of music and he’s planning to go out with a bang. In a recent interview on the We In Miami podcast, the seasoned Atlanta rapper shared that his upcoming album, a double disc effort titled Kill The King / Kiss The King will be his last.

According to the 43-year-old, “It’s time to evolve beyond music. There’s a lot more people carrying the torch and pushing the culture forward so I’m working on my final album Kill The King. This is breaking news,” he said, following a round of applause from the hosts.

“I’ve decided that I’m going to make it a double album. There’s going to be ‘Kill The King,’ and ‘Kiss The King,’” he continued. He also revealed that the initial single from this dual album will feature NBA Youngboy.

“Kill The King” will mark T.I.’s return to the music scene, following his last album “The L.I.B.R.A.”released in 2020. The 20-song LP featured a number of high-profile guests, including 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Killer Mike, Jeremih, and more.

Moving on to the collaborative project with Boosie, T.I. gave fans an update. He mentioned, “The time that we had set aside for it has kind of passed by.” Explaining further, he added, “There’s so much that goes into releasing a record besides just putting it out there.”

While the album, initially announced in September 2022, faced a setback after Boosie raised allegations against T.I., causing its cancellation, T.I. emphasized their continued positive relationship. He also didn’t entirely rule out the possibility of revisiting the project at a later date.
