Rihanna causally reveals she’s pregnant, again. During her stunning Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night (February 12) at State Farm Stadium, a baby bump was visible throughout. Fans were reluctant to pronounce the Bajan native pregnant, and wondered if her bulging stomach was just weight gain from her previous pregnancy, but a rep for the singer later confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Rih is indeed pregnant with her second child.
Soon after Rihanna’s boyfriend A$AP Rocky became a trending topic on social media.
“A$AP Rocky ain’t messing around that boy knocked Rihanna up back to back. Love to see it,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another user added, “ASAP rocky up for the city boys again lol… knocked up Rihanna again.”
Rapper Boosie Badazz also reacted to Rihanna’s second pregnancy in less than a year.
“Again, smh ASAP ain’t playing, he captioned a video of the moment he found out Rih was pregnant.
Rihanna fans seemed more disappointed that they were no longer going to get an album.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky gave birth to their first child in May, a baby boy, who’s now nine months old. During a 2022 interview cover story with Vogue, the singer spoke about her first pregnancy and how it wasn’t actively planned.
“I don’t know when I ovulate or any of that type of shit. We just had fun,” she says. “And then it was just there on the test. I didn’t waste any time. I called him inside and showed him. Then I was in the doctor’s office the next morning and our journey began.”
She also revealed her plans to have three or four children within the next ten years, whether or not she meets the right person.
“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
