Eminem Surpasses Led Zeppelin to Become 10th Best-Selling Artist of All Time

Eminem continues to cement his status as one of the most successful and influential figures in music. According to ChartMasters, the Marshall Mathers LP creator has now surpassed Led Zeppelin to become the 10th best-selling artist of all time, with over 207 million sales worldwide.

This achievement is even more impressive given the fact that the Detroit legend is the only rapper in the top 40 of the best-selling artists list. His closest competitor is Drake, who sits at No. 41 with just over 120 million sales. Following behind are Kanye West at No. 61 with 98 million sales, and the late 2Pac at No. 73 with 84 million sales globally.

Michael Jackson comes in at No. 2 with 338 million, while The Beatles hold the No. 1 spot with an astounding 423 million sold in total.

In the top five, we also see other legendary artists, with Elvis Presley at No. 3 boasting 321 million sales, followed by Queen at No. 4 with 279 million, and Madonna rounding out the group at No. 5 with 248 million sales.

The rapper has since released 11 studio albums, all of which have been certified platinum or multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In addition to his staggering sales figures, Eminem’s accolades include an impressive array of awards, including 15 Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards, and 24 MTV Video Music Awards.
