The surprise show, reminiscent of Ye’s “Donda” listening parties, was a full-fledged spectacle. Vibrant visuals and pulsating lights bathed the stage as Ye, clad in a controversial KKK-style hoodie, and Ty Dolla Sign previewed several unreleased collaborations with artists like Lil Baby, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Freddie Gibbs, and more.
The show also marked the debut performance of Kanye West’s eldest daughter, North West, who collaborated with James Blake on an untitled track.
“It’s your bestie, Miss Miss Westie, don’t tryna test me, it’s gonna get messy,” North sings in the song.
Kanye West, now known as Ye, also thrilled the crowd with some of his older songs including “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “All Of The Lights.”
“Vultures” marks the culmination of a years-long creative process between Ye and Ty Dolla $ign. The duo has teased various snippets and snippets of the album throughout the summer, building anticipation among fans. While a release date for the album is still officially unconfirmed, fans speculate the album would be dropping this Friday, December 15th.
