Sexyy Red and Lil Durk Join Forces for “Hellcats SRTs 2”

Sexyy Red continues her impressive ascent in the music scene by enlisting the talents of Lil Durk for a revamped version of “Hellcats SRTs,” originally featured on Hood Hottest Princess.

The track, produced by Shawn Ferrari, exudes a vibe reminiscent of the mixtape era of the 2000s. “Hellcats SRTs” is an energetic anthem, celebrating Sexyy’s passion for high-speed cars and the men who navigate them. With his longstanding love for hellcats, Lil Durk seamlessly complements the song, adding an authentic touch to the Chicago-to-St. Louis connection.

In the Jerry Production-directed music video for “Hellcats SRTs 2,” Sexyy and Lil Durk are seen enjoying their wealth while cruising in their powerful muscle cars.

This release comes on the heels of #SexyySummer, a period during which the St. Louis native solidified her position as one of the most buzzed-about and highly praised emerging talents in hip-hop. Sexyy’s breakout track, “Pound Town,” produced by Tay Keith, has secured a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for multiple weeks, attained a Top 10 position on Urban Radio, and the remix featuring Nicki Minaj, “Pound Town 2,” received a GOLD certification from the RIAA. Collectively, all versions of “Pound Town” have amassed over 69 million streams worldwide.

With Hood Hottest Princess out now and a burgeoning fanbase that can’t get enough of her hits, the rising rapper is dominating 2023. Following a short stint opening on tour for her biggest fan, Drake, during his “It’s All A Blur Tour” with 21 Savage, Sexyy Red recently announced the “Hood Hottest Princess Tour,” her first-ever headlining tour. The tour quickly sold out, minutes after its initial announce, prompting Sexyy to add dates and upgrade several venues on the tour.
