PARTYNEXTDOOR’s ‘P4’ Album Sales Projections

PARTYNEXTDOOR fans rejoiced last Friday with the long-awaited arrival of “PARTYNEXTDOOR 4” (P4), his first project in four years. While the album has been met with critical praise, early sales figures paint a less celebratory picture.

HitsDailyDouble reports that P4 is projected to sell between 33K and 38K copies in its first week. This falls slightly short of his previous album ‘PARTYMOBILE’, which sold around 50K copies in its opening 7 days.

‘PARTYNEXTDOOR 4’ is the fourth installment in the artist’s self-titled series and follows his sophomore album, ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR 3’. The album, released under OVO Sound, features a 14-track set that includes hits like “Her Old Friends,” “Resentment,” “Real Woman,” and “Lose My Mind.”

The Canadian R&B singer-songwriter has been quoted saying that this album is the result of the hardest he’s ever worked on a project. The album carries a warm yet charismatically toxic R&B sound, supported by subtle rapping and cluttered pop throughout the project.
