The arraignment for Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man accused of killing Tupac Shakur, has been delayed again, this time to November 2nd at 9am, per TMZ. This is the second time that the arraignment has been rescheduled.
Davis appeared in court two weeks ago, but his lawyer was a no-show. His arraignment was then pushed to Thursday.
The latest postponement is reportedly due to Davis’s attorney needing more time to prepare for the case.
Davis was arrested in September and charged with murder in connection with Shakur’s 1996 shooting death.
Clark County D.A. Steve Wolfson said in a press conference after the initial hearing that Keefe D was expected to plead not guilty to the charge of murder with the use of a deadly weapon in relation to the nearly 30-year-old case.
The arraignment will be held at the Clark County Criminal Justice Center in Las Vegas.
