21 Savage has received primarily positive feedback for his latest LP “American Dream.” The blockbuster project released on Friday (January 12) boasts features from A-List acts, including Brent Faiyaz, Summer Walker, Lil Durk, Young Thug, Mariah The Scientist, Doja Cat and more.

According to HitsDailyDouble, the Atlanta rapper’s third solo album is projected to move around 130K -150K equivalent album units in its opening week. This would give 21 his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, following 2018’s i am > i was, 2020’s Savage Mode II with Metro Boomin, and 2022’s Her Loss with Drake.

For comparison, Savage’s second studio album, i am > i was, debuted atop the Billboard 200 and moved 131,000 copies in its first week. The rapper’s last two projects, Savage Mode II and Her Loss, topped the chart in their first weeks of release with 171,000 and 411,000 copies, respectively.

Savage took to Instagram on Saturday (January 13) to thank fans for their support, while also humorously asking if he should remove the viral “poop bar” from the record, “Pop Ur S**t.”

“I’m happy y’all like it. Y’all want me to change the poop bar?” 21 wrote alongside some new photos of himself.

A new film titled American Dream: The 21 Savage Story starring  Donald Glover, and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin is set to arrive on July 4th. According to the trailer released last week, the movie will portray the life and career of the London-born artist.
