Post Malone has a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks. About a week after announcing his new album “Twelve Carat Toothache,” is due next month, June 3. The 26-year old reveals he’s about to become a dad for the first time.
The “Circles” artist confirmed the news in a statement to TMZ expressing his excitement.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad,” he said. “Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
Though the identity of Posty’s girlfriend remains unknown, the parents-to-be reportedly celebrated the news with a private party for friends and family at an undisclosed location in Southern California over the weekend.
“Twelve Carat Toothache” is Post’s fourth studio album, and first since 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with roughly 489,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week. Malone said the album, which clocks in around 45 minutes, “speaks more to how [he’s] feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream.”
