Must Read

This is how we’re starting the New Year?

Sarkodie ushers in 2023 with a new track titled Landlord, in which the veteran Ghanaian rapper talks heavy about his accomplishments and standing in African Hip Hop.

He also used the nearly 3-minute track to respond to Nasty C, after the South African claimed Sarkodie snubbed him the first time they met.

“I heard the young champ is hurt. I’m sorry, but any time you meet the highest all you need is just a marker. Grab an autograph and get the F-ck out,” Sark raps.

During his freestyle on Metro FM’s Touchdown show with Tbo Touch. Nasty C revealed he turned down multiple feature requests from Sarkodie in response to the Ghanaian blanking him when he was still a newcomer.

“I will never give that man a verse,” raps Nasty C.

Sarkodie addresses claims that he reached out twice in two years requesting to collaborate, saying, “I never reached out homie,” and alludes to Nasty C dissing him as part of a grand scheme to get his attention.

“I know what you doing, such a smart ass. Touching the god is part of the plan.” After comparing Nasty C to Lil Durk, he apologizes about the situation, ”just in case you still hurt.”
