Benzino is upping the ante in his long-running feud with Eminem. While commenting on Stevie J’s recent challenge to 50 Cent, the former editor of The Source magazine campaigned for a spot on the undercard of Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s boxing match scheduled for July 20.
Benzino took to Instagram Live, proposing a doubleheader: “If 50 [Cent] will fight Stevie [J] then I will fight Eminem,” he declared. “And then it would be the biggest pay-per-view celebrity boxing match in the history of this world.
His vision involved a stacked card: “Imagine it – Sleeves [Stevie J] versus 50 Cent, me versus Eminem! It would be insane. Put us on the undercard of Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s fight in July. This needs to happen, people! I’m ready to fight Eminem. It’s just boxing gloves, what’s he scared of? They’re practically pillows!”
Benzino continued with bravado, boasting, “I’d knock Eminem out within 30 seconds of the first round. Let’s do this! This is a moneymaker, people want to see it! Spread the word! Shady and G-Unit against the good guys. They want Tony Yayo? We got Peter Gunz. Want someone else? We got Sisqo!”
He doubled down on his confidence: “I’d demolish him. There’s no doubt I’d beat the living daylights out of Eminem in a boxing match. Easy win. Speaking of easy wins, I’d even fight Joe Budden for free. Charity match? Let’s do it. I’d break Joe Budden’s jaw for a good cause!”
Stevie J recently called out 50 Cent over the G-Unit rapper’s nonstop trolling of Diddy and his sexual assault allegations.
Stevie J, a former member of Diddy’s production crew, was named in Diddy’s lawsuit, with allegations that included photos of Stevie J having sex with another man. After 50 Cent mocked Stevie J over the lawsuit, Stevie J threatened to retaliate with violence.
“Curtis what’s good, man? You in your feelings about [50’s ex] Daphne [Joy] because she with the gang now? Or is that you sucking Lil Rod dick?” he said in a video posted online.
“However it go, I wanna shoot the fade, n-gga. Fuck all that. Since it’s entertainment, let me beat the shit out of you on TV or something. Don’t duck that. I’m calling you out. What you wanna do, Curtis? Curtisss!”
Stevie J’s public challenge to 50 Cent was met with typical trolling from the “Power” creator: “But he never said it wasn’t true! Lol,” 50 wrote on Instagram.
Benzino’s desire to fight Eminem comes as their decade-long-beef was reignited this year following the release of Doomsday Pt. 2. whereby Eminem mocked his longtime rival. Benzino fired back with two diss songs of his own, “Vulturius” and “Rap Elvis.”
The much-anticipated Tyson vs. Paul fight will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed on Netflix.
