Chrisean Rock has been open about her faith in God and it looks like her son Chrisean Malone Jr. would be walking a similar path. The reality star on Sunday (Sept. 10) dedicated her new born to God, a week after the child’s birth. The christening was held at the Spirit of Faith Christian Center in her hometown of Baltimore and was attended by her family and closest friends.

During the ceremony, Pastor Dr. Mike Freeman invited Rock and her family to the front. The baby, dressed in a teddy bear onesie, was introduced with the name “Chrisean Michael Malone.” However, Chrisean clarified that the baby’s middle name is “Jesus.”

“Chrisean Jr. was dedicated today,” she captioned the post on Instagram. In another post shared on her Instagram stories, she added, “my baby is protected forever. I love you Chrisean Jr. nothing and no one can harm you or use you.”

Fans took to social media to show their support for Chrisean Rock’s dedication to her faith and her child. Singer and media personality Queen Naija wrote, “The best thing a mother can do is dedicate her child back to God..No matter what, God got his hand on Chrisean’s life.”

Another person commented, “If Chrisean only knew the amount of people standing behind her she’d see she already won the battle.”

A third person said, “Regardless of what ppl say about her she always puts GOD first and I love that.”

“I don’t even know this lady. This the second time I have cried with her watching her life through my phone. Congratulations @ChriseanMalone and Chrisean Jr.! Wishing your family a lifetime of happiness and cherished moments together,” wrote another person.

Someone else wrote, “As chaotic as she is, one thing she do love is the Lord.” Another person added, “Oh that child needed that covering cause the father and step mother was wishing ill on him it’s never to early to cover ur baby …may God cover and protect that’s child and heal his mother so he can have a safe and comfortable life.”

While many celebrated the dedication, some felt it was too soon and accused Chrisean of seeking attention. Concerns were raised about the baby’s exposure to a large gathering at such a young age.

“Oh now this looking like a clout chase low key that baby is 7 days old take him home and get him from outside issa new strain,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “The baby hasn’t had his full set of shots yet. This is too dangerous for his immune system to be around all these many people. I know it’s been a while since I had an infant but damn this is too early for them both to be up and running around.”

The child’s father, Blueface, who hasn’t yet met his son, surprisingly praised Chrisean on social media. He expressed his preference for the baby to be in a church surrounded by faithful individuals.

“I rather the baby Ina church full of god fearing faithful people,” Blueface wrote on Sunday. “If anything I believe in the same thing.”

Despite previous statements about potential custody battles, Blueface conveyed trust in Chrisean’s parenting abilities.

“I trust chrisean with my son that’s it nobody else,” he wrote in another post on X (formerly Twitter. “Shes actually very nurturing an caring good with kids no doubt just alil impatient an the baby NEEDS patience can’t just get up an go no mor.”
