Despite recently announcing a hiatus from music to focus on his health, Canadian rapper Drake has surprised fans with the announcement of his 2024 U.S. tour, “It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?”, with special guest J. Cole on select dates.
Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off with two shows in Denver on January 18 and 19, and will visit cities including Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Nashville, and Birmingham before concluding on March 27.
The tour follows the success of Drake’s 2023 It’s All A Blur Tour, which sold out 50 shows. It also coincides with the release of his eighth studio album, “For All The Dogs.”
Cash App Cardholders will have access to an exclusive presale starting November 15, with general sales beginning November 17 at 11 am local time on drakerelated.com. More info on ticket sales can be found here.
This is a huge announcement for fans of both Drake and J. Cole, who recently collaborated on the song “First Person Shooter” from Drake’s album. During an appearance on Lil Yachty’s “A Safe Place” podcast, Cole spoke about their collaboration reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“If it would’ve went No. 2, it wouldn’t have mattered. I wouldn’t have felt no way. If the other song would’ve went No. 1, it’s like, bro, I’m cool,” he said. “I’d almost feel better not having my first No. 1 being off [of] a Drake alley-oop, you know what I mean? I love Drake, and I love that I’m a part of that moment with him, with Michael Jackson.”
