Kanye West has released a new music video for his song “Talking”, which features his 10-year-old daughter North West. The song is a collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign and is part of their upcoming joint album Vultures, which will be released in three volumes starting from Feb. 9th.
The music video, directed by the D’Innocenzo Brothers and shot by Matteo Cocco, shows North West rapping while getting her hair braided by various hands. She delivers a confident verse, saying “It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t tryna test me. It’s gonna get messy.” Kanye West appears in the video as well, smiling and supporting his daughter. Ty Dolla Sign and his daughter also appear in the video.
The song was first previewed by Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign at a listening party in December, where North West surprised the audience with her rap skills. The song is one of the tracks from Vultures, a three-part album series that Kanye West announced on social media. He said that the first volume will be out on Feb. 9th, followed by the second and third volumes on March 8th and April 5th, respectively.
The music video for “Talking” has already received positive feedback from fans and critics, who praised North West’s performance and Kanye West’s fatherly love. The video has also sparked memes and jokes on social media, with some comparing North West to Adonis Graham, Drake’s son, who also rapped on his father’s album.
