Lil Wayne‘s latest mixtape, Tha Fix Before Tha VI, sold 19,000 album-equivalent units in its first week of release, according to HitsDailyDouble. The project was released as a prelude to his forthcoming album, Tha Carter VI.
“Tha Carter VI,” Wayne’s 14th studio album, has been a hot topic since 2022. In a video shared on social media, Wayne expressed his gratitude to his fans and casually dropped the news, saying, “I’m not sure if you heard, but Carter VI is on the way.”

The sales numbers for “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” are certainly lower than what Lil Wayne is used to selling, but they’re still respectable for a mixtape, especially one that was released with no promotion.
