NBA YoungBoy’s ‘Don’t Try This At Home’ First Week Sales

NBA YoungBoy earns his his 14th top 10 album and second of 2023 with ‘Don’t Try This At Home,’ which debuts at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

The album released via Never Broke Again/Motown/Capitol Records sold 60,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Billboard reports streaming activity powers the bulk of the album’s debut, as SEA units comprise 59,000 of that sum, album sales comprise 1,000 units while TEA units comprise a negligible sum.

The 23-year-old also found success on the Hot 100 chart. His new track “Big Truck” debuted at No. 100 on the Hot 100 this week, making him the youngest artist to land 100 chart entries on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. He surpasses Lil Baby who previously held the record and becomes the 13th artist to ever achieve this feat.

The Baton Rouge-rapper is just five entries ahead of Eminem and five behind Pop singer Justin Bieber (105) and Hip Hop legend Jay-Z (105). The Top 10 also includes Elvis Presley (109), Chris Brown (114), Nicki Minaj (129), Lil Baby (134), Kanye West (141), Future (161), Lil Wayne (184), Taylor Swift (189), Glee Cast (207) and Drake (294).
