Fresh off the heels of her sold-out “Hood Hottest Princess Tour,” Sexyy Red delivers a deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed mixtape, adding 11 new tracks to the year’s most buzzed-about album.
Released on December 1, Hood Hottest Princess (Deluxe) expands upon the original mixtape’s success, featuring an additional 11 songs that showcase Sexyy Red’s versatility and lyrical prowess. The deluxe edition includes fan-favorite singles like “Shake Yo Dreads,” a high-energy anthem for all the dreadheads out there, the unapologetically raunchy “Hood Rats,” and the recently released banger “Free My N***a.”
Elevating the project even further, Hood Hottest Princess (Deluxe) boasts guest appearances from some of the most prominent figures in the rap scene, including Chief Keef, G Herbo, and 42 Dugg. Additionally, R&B sensation Summer Walker adds her smooth vocals to the soulful track “I Might.”
Rounding out the extended mixtape is an additional appearance from Sukihana on “Hood Rats,” further solidifying Sexyy Red’s connection to her fellow St. Louis natives.
The original Hood Hottest Princess, released in June, featured 11 tracks that quickly established Sexyy Red as a rising star in the music industry. The mixtape included fan favorites like “SkeeYee,” “Looking For the H**s (Ain’t My Fault),” “Female Gucci Mane,” and “Pound Town 2” with Nicki Minaj, which earned a GOLD certification from the RIAA. Other notable artists on the project included Juicy J, ATL Jacob, and Sukihana.
In October, Sexyy Red embarked on a nationwide tour in support of the mixtape, selling out 24 dates and performing for an estimated 70,000 fans. Her massive sold-out hometown show at the 8,000-capacity Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis further cemented her status as one of the hottest draws in hip-hop in 2023.
