A video capturing the incident between Britney Spears and NBA star Victor Wembanyama has recently emerged, shedding light on the encounter. In the footage obtained by TMZ, Spears can be seen energetically chasing after the NBA star outside Catch restaurant in Vegas, attempting to gain his attention by shouting “sir sir” in a British accent.

However, Wembanyama appears to be oblivious to Spears’ attempts, and she proceeds to tap him on the left shoulder. In response, Wembanyama’s security intervenes and either slaps Spears’ hand, resulting in her glasses flying off, or inadvertently makes contact that causes her hand to hit her face.

Reacting to the incident, Spears vehemently voices her frustration at Wembanyama and his entourage, using explicit language to express her displeasure: “That’s America for you. F*** you all!” She exclaimed.

Wembanyama has since addressed the incident, claiming that Spears “grabbed him from behind.” However, the video does not support this claim. Wembanyama also said that he did not know that the woman who was slapped was Spears until “a couple hours later.”

“I didn’t see what happened, because I was walking straight and we were told, ‘Don’t stop’… But that person grabbed me from behind — not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind — and so I just know the security pushed her away.”

Spears filed a police report in Las Vegas, Nevada, shortly after the incident. However, no charges will be filed against Wembanyama or his security after Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department closed its investigation on the alleged assault.
