In response to the jokes and memes that followed, Lil Baby took to his Instagram stories on Sunday night to set the record straight. He denied being the person in the video and dismissed it as mere “clickbait.”
“Y’all gotta stop using my name and likeness when y’all get bored,” he began. “Then the extremes mfs go to for clout is sick!! Ain’t no mystery in my history on NO LEVEL. This my last time addressing any kind of dumb ass click bait Tf is wrong wit y’all.”
“No flaws -no cap in my raps,” he concluded.

It’s not the first time Lil Baby’s sexuality has come under scrutiny, with internet users and fellow rappers. Earlier this year, 50 Cent playfully teased the Atlanta native over a photo of him smiling while being in a sandwich hug with two men at Michael Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons.
50 Cent, known for trolling Diddy about his sexuality, hinted at something more with the caption, “See this is why I don’t go to no party Puffy and them at. Da f-ck is going on here? Get the f-ck off my young [ninja]. WTF!”
There have also been speculations about Lil Baby’s close association with NBA superstar James Harden, who is a good friend of his. Some internet users have suggested that Harden might be the second person in the video clip.
