Kanye West has reportedly recorded a lengthy apology to the Jewish community for his past despairing comments.

TMZ reports the 40-minute recording will be released ahead of his Vultures album with Ty Dolla $ign, which is set to arrive February 9. According to the publication, the “Graduation” rapper spoke directly into the camera and was rambling at times.

Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, previously issued an apology in Hebrew for his antisemitic commentary and adoration of Hitler. The post shared on his Instagram account last year translates to, “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”

However, the apology wasn’t well received and Ye was accused of formulating the message with AI.

While it’s still not explicitly clear what his motives are, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg suggests the Chicago native is probably in desperate need of a sample clearance.

“I wonder what sample Kanye needs to clear before Friday.  Because we all know Kanye notoriously is late with handling album stuff and I just wonder weather there was something getting held up and someone said, ‘hey, this sample does not get cleared if he does not issue an apology’” Rosenberg told TMZ at the time.

Kanye West appears to be embracing the change as he recently unveiled his new “jaws” inspired grill.
